36mm sample cavity for soil studies, palaeomagnetics, geomorphology and anisotropy measurements. Calibration accuracy to 1%. Measurement period (MS2 meter only) 1.5s SI (1.2s CGS) or 15s SI (12s CGS). Operating frequencies 0.465kHz ±1% (LF) or 4.65kHz ±1% (HF).
The MS2B is also suitable for susceptibility measurements of magnetic fluids, inks and micro/nano particles. The sensor accepts 10ml and 20ml cylindrical bottles, 25.4mm and 23mm cubic boxes, 35mm pots and 25.4mm cylindrical cores.
