Groundwater Management Model for the Lower Murray |
|
|
The Lower Murray aquifer system has been designated as a potential high-risk aquifer
system due to over-allocation and increased groundwater abstraction. Ecoseal undertook development, calibration and verification
of a 3D groundwater flow model, and planning scenarios to estimate sustainable yield for each aquifer and zones to improve management
of groundwater in areas showing excessive depletion of the groundwater resource.
