Ecoseal developed groundwater and solute transport models for management of salt affected land in Northeast Thailand. The area modelled covers Thailand’s most important rice production regions. The project aim was to develop sub-regional groundwater and solute transport models in various locations in northeast Thailand to manage the impact of salinity and to evaluate scenarios for expanding irrigated agriculture.
