Review of the Modelling and Forecasting of Coal Seam Gas Water Production
 

Ecoseal undertook a review of the Water Production Tool (WPT) for the coal seam gas (CSG) water feasibility study to understand and manage potential impacts of CSG extraction on groundwater systems. The specific objectives of the review were to comment on modelling approach, calibration and verification, and scenario analysis undertaken with the WPT; applicability of the WPT to NSW; modifications required; and alternative modelling approaches.
