The project developed guidelines and principles for investigation, assessment and monitoring criteria to allow the managed utilisation of confined aquifer storage for identified public benefit outcomes. Case studies of aquifers with large and small storage levels were examined so that principles developed can be utilised over a range of aquifer types.
